I bought some TDK dvd-r 1-8x discs from my local Tesco's store 5 for £8 I ran dvd identifier and says it is made by Taiyo Yuden TYG02. I did the same thing with CD-DVD speed but it does not reconise the manufacturer but says TYG02. So who are thay actually made by and are they any good?

If they are real Taiyo Yuden then they are excellent quality. This is what some other people thought of them:

From your comment i guess you are in the UK and 5 discs for £8 is very expensive. Check out www.svp.co.uk or www.aprmedia.com
