Hi Guys,

Just wondering about the right way to go about ripping an entire move off DVD Shrink. All I want is the moive - no subtitles, menus, commentary etc. I tried once and it copied the chapters indvidually. Is there a way I can copy a movie as a whole, not as indvidual chapters...so after its ripped its just one bif VBO file? Let me know. Thanks!

One big VOB file?????
I think you mean one ISO file (approx. 4.43gb), and just copy the movie (you own, right?)not the extra stuff.

Once DVDshrink has opened the DVD:
click on the re-author tab
click and drag the TITLE 1 icon into the window on the left
press compression tab
here uncheck all that you don't want (subtitles, menus, audio, etc.)
now click on the backup tab
for save target as, choose ISO image (not the burn with Nero choice)
for destination, choose a place on your hard drive to store the image
press ok and let shrink do it's thing

Once done you should have an ISO image in the location you specified of the dvd (movie only and language of your choice), you can now burn the image to dvd. You can use Nero, ROXIO, or my favorite ImgBurn found at ImgBurn.com.
