i've been installing modchips for a couple years now and have never run into a problem like this. i've had a magic V 5k6 (v. 10 only chip) for a while and finally got a v. 10 ps2 from a friend... well, i thoguht it was a version 10... scph 50001 Date code 3D. so i open it up and no parts are matching the one's on the diagram. to make a long story short, the board is a version 9 (GH-023), but the case is a version 10. i was the first one to open this case as well, warranty sticker was untouched before i got to it. has anyone else heard of this?
