I am having problems unlocking my Nokia 6670b on Fido in Canada

I have tried four codes and the fourth said something like "Phone restrictions off/lifted", but I still get a "Sim Card not valid" error with a MoviStar Mexico SIM card.
Tried:

#pw+182044015042643+7# for other DCT 4/5
#pw+035 453 753 231 546+7# from NokiaFree.org 3.2.003 for 6670
#pw+098 433 117 521 125+1# ?phone restrictions lifted? but it says ?Sim Card not valid?

It seems it needed two successive passcodes to be fully unlocked.

We do this daily and we know what works. Your model can be done with one code or 2 codes. Code 2 & 5 will work or Code 7 will also work!! 2&5 add up to 7;)

should I use

I would try Nokia Free 3.20.03 from a link in the NokiaFree.us forum. You must be useing 3.1 or older. I tried that with the SMART DCT4 but it did not work either.
Using Nokia Free with your IMEI I calculate:

Just to add to your comment about your phone being locked to Rogers, it's not true. Rogers may sell the phone but it's locked in the Fido name. The first 7 digits in your IMEI tell the entire story of who it's locked to. Yes, I am forum administrator at unlocknokia.us and it is my site. I unlock nearly 100 or more phones daily. You have already tried 2 codes on a phone that will only give you 3 chances to unlock. 6670's do not allow 5 chances. Your IMEI starting with 35620400 shows that it's locked to Fido and it has to be done with code 2 & 5 for the complete unlock. If anyone needs proof to show it works, check this link:

Also check for Lukasz69 and you will see where he was unlocked here using codes 2 & 5 locked to Fido and he just so happens to work for Fido in Canada and informed me that Rogers does not sell any 6670's meaning that it would be impossible for your phone to be locked to Rogers even though Rogers bought out Fido. Sorry you entered too many codes into your phone and now have it hardlocked but don't blame me for any of it. I didn't see blame but I did notice insinuation that it was my fault in your P.S.

I'm apologize to all I have offended, I'm unlocking the phone for my cousin in Portugal and she said she was sure it was from Rogers Canada and that the codes I gave her didn't work!
I knew those were Fido codes because I have a DCT4 Code Box generator and used it on the the codes I found on the thread and they came up as Fido, which I assume was wrong because of her info!
I did know that Fido requires both codes 2 & 5 to unlock the 6670, I have done this before also, I just can't tell from the IMEI# what the service actually is from like NO_Limit4 can, again I'm sorry!

Everything is fine and no hard feelings here. I just wanted to clarify the situation with the phone you were trying to get unlocked. I also have dealt with others that have tried relaying codes to another person and that also limits the chances. Most of the time it might work but when relaying, something can go wrong. In your case, what was relayed to you was wrong and that's what you were going by. I noticed someone above mentioned he had 5 chances on this model and as far as I know (and I could be wrong), you only have 3 chances before it becomes hardlocked. Your cousin can still get the phone unlocked by a professional unlocker using a DCT 4 clip. In US dollars this would be around $30.00 and it would be the only way for your cousin to get it unlocked now. The 6670 from Canada is Tri-band compatible ( GSM 850/1800/1900)
and I show 3 networks in Portugal and all 3 do carry the 1800 MHz frequency which would mean it would be worth getting unlocked for her country. I wish your cousin all the luck and you the same!!
