i downloaded a game off the net and didn't want to burn the game to disk i just wanted to transfer it via ftp. can i do that and what format do i have to make the file for the xbox to read.

If the game is in a folder, just ftp that folder to your games folder in your E or F drive.

depends on the type of file you have now,
If it is an ISO you use Qwix or Craxtion to extract
the contents of the ISO and FTP it
If it is folders for the game then just FTP it
If they are a bunch of rar files then you have to use Winrar
and extract the ISO out first
