error loading lockout with "halo2 luancher"

Ok so the other i wanted the system link my xbox to my friend. He does not have the new maps or update so i could even system link because of the update. So i backed up my halo2 to the hdd and downloaded "halo2 Launcher". It enables me to choose the 1.0 or 1.1 so i couls system link. But the 1.0 show a different lockout pic, and it says fail to load map. Any help would be appreciated.
