i cant beleieve this ..i've been buying the full hub printable maxell dvd-r from wal-mart & all ofthem have been RitekG05 up until now...after i had a couple of burn processes to fail off of 1 pack i went out & bought another pack...same results..ran nero info tool..found out that they are cmc-mag...so to saugmon & any other people,beware of the dvd-r..i'm going to buy the dvd+r tomorrow..hope i dont run into any bad 1's there.
good thing wal mart has an easy return policy.
i have seen some of them wal mart maxell's made elsewhere... i saw one that had mexico on them... but i can't recall the place exactly.
I'm a DVD+R person, regardless if it's Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or Maxell. A good rule of thumb is to make sure you're going to get the "High Grade" media from Maxell, made by Hitachi Corp. is to look/check for "Made In Japan". That's my philosophy -- the same thing apply for TY, FUJI and SONY "Made In Japan" is a must, or else I will NOT buy it period.
