i live in T.O. in Canada, i know TY's are the way to go, but i can't find any of them anywhere, and i also prefer to buy in store, not online, so, other than TY's, what are good quality media discs i can get in Toronto, and can anyone tell me from where. thnx

Verbatim's are every bit as good as taiyo yuden's and can be found in retail stores. They are made in Taiwan but don't let that bother you. Just stay away from the verbatum pearl white's. Some of those were made by cmc mag but are being phased out to being made by ritek.

FutureShop Canada has Maxell 100 spindle on sale this week for $29.99 CAD. In my area I found MIJ mixed in with MIT.
