i bought a sony dvd+r 50 pack rated 1-16x from compusa while back, finally decided to break it open and see what the dvd info would say, usually sony MIJ is made by TY, but on this one i got a different result, after extensively doing research i always came to the conclusion that TY, Verbatim and anything that had MIJ stamp on it is the only dvd media i would purchase. haven't ran the scan on it yet but would like to ask if this particular sony is still good media, since its made by sony and its MIJ.

compusa and sony are usually reliable. i havent seen any 16x sonys yet but they should be good.
