Here's a question. Does anybody know if it is possible to take just the audio of a dvd to put it on a cd? I have some music dvd's like U2 in concert and I would like to take the audio off of it and put it on a cd to listen to in the car. I realize that it might take more than 1 cd to hold 1 1/2 hour of music though. thanx

Xillsoft dvd ripper works great. Free alternitive use mp3mymp3.

Thanx S.D.!! mp3mymp3 works great. It stopped recording by itself after 1 hr. though. I didn't ralize it until 45min. later when the dvd was done though. I just went back and burned the rest of it and added it as the 2nd track. You could put over 5hr on to a cd using this program too(1hr=125mb). That kicks a**!! Thanx again!

I usually stop and start mp3mymp3 to create breaks in each song. The beauty about Xilsoft is its like ripping a dvd you just check the chapters for each song and hit the start button, the quality is much better. Sounds just like the original.
