what disc is needed for bypassing the copy protection so i can play copied Gamecube games..?
like the PS2 that needs Swapmagic and Fliptop! what does gamecube need?

Right now there isn't a disc that will work for this, like the PS2. The only 2 ways to play backed up games on your gamecube is by either using a modchip, such as the Qoob or Viper, or going with a software mod that uses the Phantasy Star Online Game disc and a broadband adapter connected to your PC. There are threads on this site that have instructions for both.

DOH! Should have wrote that one down. :) But ya, as far as I know there isn't one, it could have been a fake program someone was trying to sell. I dunno, someone else on here might reply back if they know of any, but again to my knowledge there isn't one.

The softmod that involves PSO is outdated. It's much better to use an Action Replay or Max Drive Pro.
However, modchips are the best course of action, especially if you don't already own an AR or MDP to begin with.

Does it get passed the Copy protection? do you need anything else like e.g. Slidetool (PS2) or something like that????
How much does it cost? around £30? or more? and Qoob and Viper chips, where are they bought from?

AR and MDP can play back-ups if you load a soft mod onto them such as GCoS or Ninjamod. However, if you don't already have a MDP or AR I don't think it's worth doing.
Qoob Pro and Viper can be bought off Divineo or pretty much any reputable online mod store. I recommend the Qoob Pro over all others.

windsong, ur an idiot to think the viper is better than the qoob pro? i dont know where to start telling u what was wrong with what u said, viper had shit all internal memory opose to the qoob pro so there fore it can run things like mp3 players and store home brew on it. i cant be stuffed going on with more...

Qoob Pro is superior than Viper GC in every way. To think other wise is foolish.
Now, the Viper Extreme, if it ever comes out, would be on par with the Qoob Pro, maybe even better if the USB functionality it promises lives up to the hype.

Freeloader only disables the region lock and can't be used to play back-ups. Meaning, all it does is let you play imports, nothing else.
