I have a couple of questions regarding stripping a DVD. I prefer to copy files from a a dvd using Decrypter, then run DvdReMake to pull out extra content, trailers, buttons, warnings, etc. Then I re-encode and compress using Shrink. I have seemed to have success so far with this strategy. Is there a more complete program that will allow me to acheive my desired results all-in-one, or is my current method the most appropriate. Also, can either DVD43/AnyDVD work in conjuction with Decrypter, or are they designed to solely work with compression software like Shrink. Will Decrypter perform the needed tasks DVD43/AnyDVD acheive?

AnyDVD only disables the copy encryption of retail DVD's.Which allows programs that don't have any intregated copy protecting removal to read retail dvds like nothing.Off the top of my head I could only think of one program that doen't remove that protections CloneDVD.This way the developer can say to MPAA this program is only used for home DVD and not retail. But we know better right...Thats why programs like Anydvd exist.Since there is not more Dvd Decrypter,I would say stay with AnyDVD because it runs in the background all the time and you don't have to worrie about it.

I don't think there is any better solution then the one ur using.

yes AnyDVD is your best bet DONT run both AnyDVD and DVD43 on the same machice they WILL conflit. using CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD works best if you do use DVD Decrypter with AnyDVD set it up this way

To use DVD Decrypter in conjunction with AnyDVD as stated per Olli ->OF SLYSOFT AND CloneDVD

Proceed to the DVD Decrypter Opening Page - Tools - Settings

I/O Tab - Click on "Elby CDIO-Elaborate Bytes"

General Tab - un-check "Check For Structure Protection"
