Hi!

Please can you help?

Well I downloaded 2 dvds from Comet, both 4.46GB in size. In both cases it is the same:

a) Most files are winrar files (each are 47.6MB),
b) loads of other unrecognisable .R files (again 47.6MB),
c) one .sfv file (2.5KB),
d) 2 nfo files
e) and a little sample folder with 1 mpg or vob file.

how do i make this into dvd format, and how can i burn it?? Already tried feeding it into shrink, decryptor, clonedvd2 and nero. No luck!

Appreciate the help,

jonny

just an obvious question have you tried extracting one of the winrar files and the others will self extarct. and tell us what filetype the movie is in. then use nero or a sililar program to burn if its .iso or such. you can open the .nfo files with a text editor. the .sfv files is a verification file. they are not needed

i am currently extracting the WinRAR files, so will get back to you on that. It seems that it will extract it to an .img file. Can i just burn that with Nero?

in the sample folder there is a single mpg file which plays a 48 second, dvd-quality clip of the movie. I opened the nfo file, there is just a little information about the dvd but no instructions.

Thank you guys!

Extracted one rar file into another directory. That in turn became an .img file, which i could use in shrink and burn with Nero. worked a treat!

I didn't extract it at first coz it seemed like taking ages and i didnt know that it would extract all the files automatically.

Now having a go with the second dvd.

Thanks for the help, appreciate it!
