The shrink will compressing to a point and this errow comes up :data errow (cyclic redundancy check) comes up on the screen. Can some help me with this problem.

CRC errors mean there is something wrong with the disc you are trying to rip.There is a bad spot/s,therefore it keeps cycling,trying to get through it and errors out.

It could be:

Older titles:
Dirty-fingerprints/smudges
Scratched-Try cleaning-or disc resurfacing.
Bum press/or a backup copy that has too many errors on it.

Newer titles-
Bum pressed-Bad discs do leave the manufacturers from time to time.
Big fat finger print or some other foreign matter on it.
Sony Arrcos encryption.

If you have a newer released title made by sony/columbia-then you'll get the same crc error because of the encryption.The use of a program called AnyDVD by slysoft will pull off those sony arccos encryptions.

What's the name of that dvd you are trying to rip?
Is it original or a backup copy?
Look at the bottom side for fingerprints/scratches or anything out the ordinary.
