what is the best chip out there in markert in your opion i am personally looking dms4pro vs the matrix chip? second off i am wondering is there a live verison of linux that i can run on a standard tv set whit just a usb mouse and keyboard? one final question is there any way to hook up a ps2 to wireless intrent the reason i am asking is i know i will have the ps2 whit me while on the road and i would like to have something to surf the net and run like yahoo and msn messnger and some basic java games lol

Both those chips are pretty much equal (although DMS4 has toxic os has some apps on it don't know about the matrix firmware). can't do the linux thing. you'd need a wireless gaming adapter for wireless connection (which will be useless if you wanna use the ps2 for internet browsing since you can't install linux it'd only come in handy for online play on the road).

but which verison of linux would you use and where can i download it ? and i also planning on using my ps 2 to play some copied games so i am geussing i will stickhit the dms4 pro modded unless money become and issue becasue the cheapset i have found it like 260 on the dms4 pro mod plus shipping

I originally wanted a DMS 4 Pro for my v.4 PS2. My picky motherboard would produce an occasional black screen with the DMS chip. I settled on a a Matrix Infinity, and I couldn't be happier. It works great. You won't go wrong with either one. They're the best two chips out there. If you get a premod, make sure you get it from a reputable site, there are a lot of clone chips out there.
