GameCube Bootchips At Cheap Prices!

"Most of you already know that I helped Cheq dump the bootcode for the Qoob. Though my part was minimal it helped get the needed code to boot games. This process is "transparent" and connects to the serial port underneath the DVD assembly and transmits a few bytes of code to boot legitmate backups and homebrew. Of course this code can be sent using simply a cheap solution such as PIC chips.

Along TMBINC along with Cheq have created a wiki page (http://tmb.elitedvb.net/dvd-game/index.php/CN302) to support developers which now contains the soldering diagram and the code to be sent. Hopefully someone will post some binaries soon. Of course I call this a bootchip as all this will allow you to do is transparently boot things, but possibly with the use of a more expensive chip we could boot GCOS."
