which means no isos or no homebrew or no downgrading

I have a white psp from japan and i downloaded the 2.6 us version can i now watch us movies or am i still going to get the region block? Can the umd emulator 8.0 help me with this??

UMD Emulator would be able to help you if you could run it, but you can't run anything on 2.6 except for the GTA cheat and tetris, so no it will not help you right now.
