I am using latest version of DVD43 and 1 click DVD Copy 4.2. I am burning the DVD's to my hard drive and replaying them in Media Center. These two DVD's burn, but when I go to play I get the following message:

This player is incompatible with the region marking of the disc.

Burned Cinderella Man after these two without a problem. Any Ideas?

Make sure that you have selected the proper region when inserting the disc and beginning the backup...AnyDVD makes the backup's region free.

I have not had any problems with other DVD's, just these two.

Each DVD is coded with a region number which represent the country it is to be played in ( I think for USA it's 1), your dvd player will only play dvd that match its region code, when the two don't match you'll get that error message.

When you make your backups you either need to match regions or make a backup that's region free. DVDshrink, DVDdecrypter, FREEDVD from DVDIdle.com will do this for you.

The DVD's play in the DVD drive of my Windows Media Center PC with no problem. I use DVD43 in the sys tray and one Click DVD copy to copy the DVD to my hard drive. I can then replay them via my movies in the Media Center PC.

If it plays in the same DVD why does the ripped version on the same machine hard drive have this problem?

Could you have accidentally changed the region code/number when performing the backups???? I suggest that you make new backups keeping all that you have been told in mind and try playing them again.

No. I just hit the start button. It has worked on all DVD's but the two listed. Strange?
