ok i have a ver. 1.50 psp that i upgraded to 1.52 a couple months ago to play a game. I later downgraded to 1.50 with mph, and today i bought tokobot and when i went to upgrade to 2.00 there was no text. there where icons for X and O, but thats it. i just pressed X a bunch and, through trial and error like i do with japanese games i got it. kinda wierd huh?

hahaha the same thing happened with my best friends psp.he was trying to upgrade to 2.00 to play gta and the thing was blank, just the arrowns and x and o.. you have to memorize the way it is...i think its right down and then x....but it isnt always like that(the blank screen) when you upgrade to 2.00 and then downgrade to 1.5 and then to 2.00 again it wont happen......

I've got the same problem...

have a 1.5 - upgraded to 2.0 to try it out. downgraded to 1.5 with MPH. all went ok and have been hapily playing my emulator games :)

went to play harry potter tonight, and it needs 2.0 - tried a WAB changer and the game still wouldn't load so decided to go up to 2.0 and downgrade later. only the text is missing on the update. I tried the UMD and a memory card one - neither had text.

I've worked through the menu but now when trying to load saves - the text is still missing....

any ideas on this folks?

that happened to me too, but its easier to fix, all u do is set ur settings to default u noe? thats all

nope, you have to reset to default yourself, lots of people get this problem, reset to default before you upgrade/downgrade and it should be all good.
