the funny thing is... i got it working before but since its been so long ive forgotten it completely and now im pretty much screwed >_>.
anyways im using avalaunch and tried following the guides but each of them mention something different which is more than a pain.
anyways i followed the guide called *The Complete Guide and FAQ to making a XBOX GAME BACKUP! but sadly it mentions nothing about how to set up a dashboard. i got it working before but since my bro owns the xbox iunno if he messed up anything since last time.
so in order for that guide to work how should i set up my xbox:
Network:enabled
DCHP:Disabled(using crossover cable)
static IP:?
Gateway:?
Subway:?
DNS1:?
DNS2?
Proxy:Disabled
Proxy IP: 10.0.0.1
Prozy port: 8080
the question marks are there because ive been working on it for the last 1-2 hours and prob changed them all around and still couldnt get it to work >_>.
please add and correct any mistakes to make the above guide function properly since i already know how to setup my network connection on pc. also im using qwix instead of flashfxp.
oh and what are the DNS sposed to be? everywhere i look its either *leave alone* or just random numbers that really dont make sense. following the *FTP made easy* guide should i just find out my connection's DNS via the *ipconfig/all* command and then write whatever numbers come up? which in this case are:
82.143.192.20(im assuming this is DNS1 since its first)
82.143.192.40(DNS2)
and then a third number but since there isnt room for more on the xbox i guess it wont matter.
