DVD Playing Blocky, Jumpy SVCD's

I'm having a problem with my SVCD's. I've noticed that when I play the video after a while the playback begins to be jumpy and blocky.

This only occurs in my DVD player. Not my PC.

It seems to be at the end of the disk or after say 1.5 hours of viewing.


The only thing that seems to make sence is that maybe the DVD is heating up. Could this effect the error correction?

Is there anything I can do to stop this? I burn with nero, 1x speed.
