I backed up my copies fo Phantom Menace and attack of the clones.
Using DVDDecript and DVD Shrink, the movies work great but there is a little symbol of a movie camera and 1/13 in the upper right of the screen that does not go away, anyone have any ideas ???
Thanks in advance

Usually when there is a camera w/ fractioned numbers as you speak of, it means that the movie has several different angles that you can what it on. When that icon comes on it (the movie) is letting you know you can hit the angle button on your remote and view the picture differently.

It can be a pain for those of us who could care less - so ... Go into your DVD PLAYER SETTINGS and simply turn it to OFF mode. That should fix your problem.

I was afraid to ask anything about this myself as at my age I thought might just be early dementia setting in and seeing things! Really glad someone else brought this up (thanks btlmonkey). Now I don't have to start taking medication!

To err is human, to really screw up.....use a computer.

I have the only solution for you. Use the re-author mode in shrink and only copy angle 1 in the main movie section or that will always bother you on a random basis... All 3 of the newest Star Wars will do that 2 you so re copy...

Thanks zhelpz, I was blissfully unaware that my DVD player had any angle settings. I am a "just put the movie in and play it" kinda guy.
New Year's resolution..Learn how the DVD player works..HA !!!!
It's also time to learn how to re-author my DVD Copies.

again thanks for the help !!

btlmonkey,

No problem - Those angle shot icons used to get on my nerves, I also just want to see the movies without all the extra "stuff" *L* I used to think something was wrong with my movies too when I first started really getting into the dvd's - and one day - I noticed a stupid "angle" icon on one of my remotes and that was all I needed *L* It didnt have the icon on all my dvd player remotes though, so that is how I learned how to go into set up *L*

rn73,

Never be scared to ask questions here - that is exactly what this site is for - you would be amazed at how many ppl are helped when one question is answered - besides - if we were all perfect then we would not be on the site ourselves *L*
