PS2 Exploit w/o a modchip, would this idea work?

I have two PS2 systems. One is a Version 12 with a DMS Modchip. The other is a version 7 without a modchip.

I was thinking about trying the following:

Taking the memory card from the un-modded ps2 and putting it in my modded ps2. Then installing the memory card exploit onto the memory card and then taking it back to my unmodded system.

Would this work? What, if anything, would I be able to do? Load burned games or just be able to run homebrew software?

It might work. BUT, you might run into a problem installing it since your modded ps2 is a slim one (expoits don't work on the slim ps2, but you might be able to get the files on the card because of your chip). You will need a spare ps1 game to run the exploit. Then if you make yourself a slide card, you can install cd loader on the mem card and run backups that way.

the slims I've had dealing with will install the exploit, just not launch them. install the exploit and then use a harddrive, the swapping of disks is really not worth the hassle.
