ive had a old (V7) ps2 for 2 years now and it was modded... a month ago it got completely busted and i bought a new ps2 today...the ps2 is a slim model SCPH-75001...i wanna mod this and ive looked around.. ive noticed theres 3 ways to mod this ps2 one being swapmagic, another being fliptop and the third is isntalling a chip (which i rly dont wanna do)..
ok so here are my questions
1) for swapmagic is it just the disks that are needed? is it something like gameshark where i put booter then put in other game and it works?
2) Will swapmagic void my ps2 warranty?
3) Does it work with games ive backed up from real and games ive downloaded?
4) do i have to be some ultrasuper ps2 genius to work it?
5) does it matter wat type of DVD i used to backup games (most my dvds were +R)
6) Im living in CANADA and i need the item ASAP so if anyone knows any site that will ship to canada in a day or two plz tell me..
is there any other info i should know?

for fliptop i absoloutly have no clue wat it is.. and basically im wondering the samse questions above... ive heard that isntallation with hardware inside ps2 is needed for fliptop.....
You use swap magic AND the fliptop together. Swap magic is a set of boot discs. You also need a way of swapping for your backup without the ps2 knowing, thats where the fliptop, slim tool, magic keys, etc come in.
@Knivez - i know it's Xmas and all but 'fraid i've had to go thru your threads due to extreme multiposting. i've left this one open though. pls stick with a problem in one thread until conclusion, do not spread the problem across countless threads
