sorry about the noobish question but what happens if a game comes with 2 discs? how can I switch the first game disc with the 2nd game disc without the help of the magic swap disc? will I be able to do it through the fliptop without the machine running a check on it?

Games with 2 discs have you save before asking for disc 2. So, you save your game, then you have to restart your ps2 and load disc 2 with swap magic.
