Options for streaming Gamecube isos from PC?

Hi y'all.

I haven't looked into playing gamecube backups since the days of the PSO hack. I've tried google and looking around these forums, but am getting a bit overwhelmed. I want to set up my media center pc to stream isos to my gamecube, but all the information I can find is for the outdated PSO way (at least I should hope that hackers have been resourceful enough to come up with a more elegant solution by now) or modding the gamecube to run dvd-r's and/or mini dvd-r's. So I'm hoping that somebody can help explain to me the latest method of streaming backups. I'm assuming that a BBA and maybe a modchip are still needed, but I'm hoping someone has made a bootdisc or bios hack, along with server programs on the pc, to make the iso loading process more streamlined. Also, I was curious if the problems such as skippy fmvs and music still existed? Basically, is there any downside to going with the streaming method? Any help on the subject would be most appreciated.
