is there a way where i could watch a dvd movie (an actual movie, such as happy gilmore)on my ps2 and then have a dvd recorder with audio, visual jacks, record what is on the tv. would i be able to because of the copyrite laws?

i heard you can pick the source for your recording, such as a certain tv channel, so i was wondering if you could record what was being played through your AV Jacks, even if its a dvd movie.

thanks, hope i made sense

I have done this but only through my inline video stabilizer. Other wise the dvdrecorder stops in short order. Google search macrovision or video stabilizer. Hope this helps
