merry christmas,
i purchased hd advance 3 for my sons ps2. i also bought a maxtor 160 gb hard drive. i connected the hard drive to the adaptor and made sure the jumper was set to master. after connecting everything i loaded a game(ncaa 2006) and the file was converted and it completed. The problem is when we turn on the ps2 with the hd advance disk in the screen comes up and shows the file, but i am unable to start the game. i was not able to highlight the game and run it. the sceen just stays black. please help

when the menu comes up with the game on the left, highlight it and press select, change the 3rd one down to yes and then press select again. i know a the NCAA 2002 is incompatible with the HDD, but i think mode 3 will work in your case. try it.
