Make it possible to cache a whole game on the HDD, but it would only be playable with the original disc in the drive to read some kind of unlock code. If nothing else than to speed up load times and reduce laser wear.
If they were to do something like this I'd hope that they'd make a larger HDD available.

if they cache'd it to the hard drive they'd not need anything larger then what it has, because w/ every game inserted it would over-write the previous game inserted, otherwise it'd be the same as playing it on a modded box.

then it would be pointless, if you had to sit there and wait for the game to be copied to the HDD everytime. I'd say a 60gig drive would do the trick with a 5-10 game slot capacity. Not many ppl play more than 5 games at one time

that would just make it easier for people to mod/hack and that would defeat the purpose of the 360 in MS's opinion.

I don't think it would make it any easier to hack, as the disc would have a code, or they could use serial codes like pc games.
