hey guys, i want to change the burn speed but under the burn setting the only option i have is maximum. how do i change it? or am i stuck?

Nero will automatically select the max write speed for the media you're using, which isn't always the correct thing to do when burning DVDs. You can change the write speed by clicking on the arrow pointing down next to "maximun", you'll see a dropdown menu with different write speed option supported by your media, highlight and click on the speed you want to change it (for burning DVDs I recommend choosing 4X).

when i click the dropdown there is no other options. im using ty 8x and wanted to drop it down to 4x, but like i said there is only the max option

you need to put the blank disc in BEFORE Nero prompts to burn otherwise it can't detect the discs's burn speeds thus will default to maximum
