Hey everyone, I could not find much on this so I thought I would post on it.

I just received a 50-pack of DVD-Rs for Christmas. They are Sony AccuCORE DVD-Rs.

Anyway, I opened and had the first one scanned by DVDInfoPro (newest one, just barely downloaded it)

Here is what the results where:

I think you'll be ok. Sony dash 1x-8x will all code as Sony08D1.They are made in both taiwan and japan and have that same MID code.All the sony 8x media is pretty good to excellent. A heck of a lot better than their older 4x speed media.

My benq 1620s had no trouble with them back when I was expiramenting with the dash format.They are the last dash discs that I burned.
I did burn 100 of the ones made in japan.No coasters! Stand alone compatability is the reason I avoid the dash format.

Look on the label and see what country they came from and let us know!
