I write on my media with a sharpie ultra fine point pen. Will the ink bleed through and eventually ruin my burned dvd's? I hope not.

I use sharpies on some of my backup discs. It should be ok. It would take a lot to penetrate that top/acrylic layer and ruin a disc. Some would say to use the special dvd/cd marker. I have them as well.They look the same,just a sharpie is neater.

I haven't seen any official info on sharpies ruining discs.

sharpies work fine and wont cause any problems down the road ,lots use them is here
