MPT installation help!

I am trying to add a Motorola USB Modem , so that MPT will recognize my v3, but when i try to add the Modem, under the list it has "Motorola USB Modem" and next to that under "Attatched To" it says "not functional". any ideas of what im doing wrong? im running WinXP, sp2. thanks.

well i have a thought, uninstall the modem, start mpt,forget every other thread that had mpt, this is the mpt download webbie, i just got it 2 nights ago and it works ---> http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6HHH2964 <---thats it
its mpt, and it works its real easy to use just follow the directions

now follow the directions but dont plug in ur v3 before u start the program, plug it in when the program asks u 2. then it should set up by itself
