I have a v1.4 xbox modded, tried two different chips, tried two different dvd roms, it still says that the drive is always open when its closed, and the light is green. When I eject it says ejecting, light flashes green then hangs there. I close the drive with the button, and still hangs. If I power on the xbox the game starts with no problem. The bios is the correct 256k one, thats all the chips can handle. Any suggestions. The first drive was a lg modded to play 'backups', and now it has the original, sad to say Thompson. It works for now and its good to test for times like this.
