Question. I want to play PSP ISO's on my psp. What do I do now that I've downloaded the torrent?
Where can I find a psp umd emulator, and what do I do then.
Any advice is much appreciated.

First of all you need 1.5 fw, which means if you have 2.01 or above you can't downgrade. http://www.psp-hacks.com for downloads of software and guides, and if you need to downgrade the mph dwngrader program and guide are there also. i used them to do mine, nice and easy to follow instructions etc, good luck.
Once you've downloaded them read the readme, but all you really need to do for umd emulator is throw the umd emulator folder on the root of the mem stick, and the two files umemulator and umdemulator% under the psp\game\folder, so x:\psp\game\umdemulator
umdemulator%
summin like that.
Also grab fast loader 0.7, which will run your isos and also dump them to mem stick for you, cause i'm all about legal backups, not d/ling some game for free thru bit torrent, and also dev hook, which doesn't even require you to have a umd in the drive, but umd emulator has the greatest compatibility of all three out there.

We can't, you use the MPH downgrader proggie to downgrade the firmware from 2.0 to 1.5 lol, play your isos, then upgrade back to 2.0 to play your 2.0 reqd games (GTA VC and SOCOM) using you're legally bought umd, that's the only way at the mo.

Alright -- I downloaded the stuff. One of them (World Series of Poker) has a .rar file -- Madden doesn't. I have no clue what to do...
I have 1.5 & all that.
My main question regards emulating PSP games on a PSP.

Open the rar file using WinRAR, and just open the first file, this will extract the iso, then copy that iso to either your ISO folder on the root of your mem stick, or somewhere to your pc first, then to ISO folder, then run umd emulator, i'm assuming you installed it properly, ie the two umdemulator files, one with a % under psp\games\ to the same dir on the mem card, and the other umdemulator folder to the root of the mem stick, fire up umd emulator from under the mem card list, then simply chose your boot method frm the list, scroll down to the game and off you go, the madden file you downloaded prolly already is an iso, ie whoever ripped it and put it on the net didn't compress it to make it smaller, like they did with your poker game. One thing tho, i think madden needs to use the system load boot option, which means when you launch the game from umd emulator it'll boot you back to the psp os screen, scroll up and instead of the umd you have in the psp, it'll show madden, i think it needs this way to boot, could b e wrong, wasn't impressed with it personally, and not sure about poker, lol, but have a play, and good luck, hope htat helps, ofc holla back with any q's..

You can't use them because you have a 2.6 PSP and they can't play homebrew!
