I want to downgrade to a 1.5. But lets say i have to upgrade to a newer firmware to play a game, can i control what firmware i upgrade to? Or do i have to upgrade all the way to a 2.6?

current'y you only need 2.0 to play certain games, which conveniently enough is the only firmware you can downgrade back to 1.5 from. You can goto sites on the net that host the firmwares, so that you can upgrade to whatever you want, but if you go higher than 2.0, it's only upwards from there, no downgrading with 2.01 and up.

its also included on the gta:lcs disk, which you should own if you own a psp ;)
