Homebrew is essentially that. Its applications, emulators, programs or anything that creative programmers have come up with to run on the PSP (or whatever device they're coding for). Essentially, if it wasn't put out by Sony or one of its partners, it's homebrew. Brewed at home for your enjoyment. Ahhhhh.... refreshing.
