PLEASE HELP WITH SETTING UP MY PS2 ONLINE..

I just wanted to know exactly how its gonna work for me with setting up my PS2 online.
I am currently living in an upstairs apartment, and i am hooked up to the internet via a NETGEAR USB Cable. So obviously Im connected wirelessly to my landlords router downstairs.
Now once i get my PS2 network adapter, what exactly would i need to hook up online?
I was reading that the back of either the PS2 or Network adapter itself des not have a USB connection. So that cancels out me getting some kind of USB connection for my PS2.
Please help, not sure what to do or what i need. Im not even sure if its possible for me to be able to hook up online,without running a long ass cable downstairs to my landlords router. I don't want to do that!
Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated.

hey with the network adapter, ur bast bet is to talk to ur land lord
get him a rowder, and a internet cabel long enouph that he can run it to ur room. it will cost u but its the only way sorry man.

i aslo have a problem i have a usb only modem and want to connect to internet with my ps2 is there any way i can do this with my current modem
