Hi this is my firt post and I dont know if the terms DEBRANDING/UNBRANDING are right but thats how I found it on websites
I have a v220 from ATT and I unlocked it using USR software I use a cingular sim card but the phone has all ATT stuff and I wanted to remove all that ATT stuff

how do i unlock the v220 phone so i can used my t-mobile sim on it, the phone is from cingular...

I used this http://simlock.techgsm.com/simlock/u/
U can use this to use another sim card but it will keep the cingular stuff on the phone
and I will put up the software and nonbrand flash that I used to flash my phone

Here is the flashing tool (BACK UP UR PHONE BEFORE DOING THIS)I didnt have any problems it was actually pretty easy to do but back up ur phone just to make sure.

Here is the motorola retail flash (it wont lock ur phone to any company)

If u want u can only use the first tool but that will only UNLOCK the phone and it will keep everything as it is now so u will have all the cingular software in it but it will work with other sim cards
U NEED THE USB CABLE

I want also unlock my motorola V220. When I use USR for unlock, must my sim-card in my mobile, or must i remove my sim-card from my mobile??
