Need help with PSP connecting to internet.

I was wondering if its possible to connect the psp to the internet using a usb wifi 802.11b/802.11g dongle because I thouhgt I could connect the dongle to my pcs usb port and my psp could connect to the internet through my pc but my friend said that wont work if not is there a way to connect using the usb cable? Any help would be great.

Using the dongle won't work and there is no way to use the USB.

You need a router.

I have a router its just not wireless is there not any other way? I really dont want to have to change my pcs to wireless.

Well you could forgo the Wi-Fi feature on the PSP?! It's over reated anyway! Besides the only Two known Games! FIFA'06 and SOCOM: Navy Seals. There's simply no other Games out there at the moment that use Infrastrucure Mode Gameing! All the ~Cool~ Wi-Fi Apps (i.e. Homebrew), are for v1.00 or v1.50 **ONLY** (e.g. PSP Radio),. The v2.00 Browser is Lightyears ahead of any Homebrew Browser! But, even still while it'S fun to take the Internet to the Toilet with you! Surfing is bet done at the Terminal!

And Lord help you if you have any little Brothers lying 'round just dieing to test the Network Updater on you!

All an all The Wi-Fi Functions of PSP are over rated!!!
