any help on this one would be greatly appriceated:-

having formatted my pc recently and previously having had things working to my satisfaction i was infected with some crappy spysheriff garbage and had to format.....so now upon installation of vegas 6 (the same installer as before) i can now no longer encode to a custom MPEG profile with either MPEG1 or MPEG2, when clicking the "custom" button for rendering the file NOTHING happens....it does work for other file types such as avi but NOT for mpeg, i have uninstalled it and re-installed (including all other sonic foundry/sony products and still no dice) any advice (apart from SF tech support as i get no answers from them) would be marvellous..as this is driving me mad...am even thinking of formatting again to try and deal with it.

The only difference i know from before is that i`m now an unhappy XPSP2 user, as my mp3 jukebox wont work without it.....could that affect Vegas?

HELP PLEASE.....IT`s KILLING ME
