Brand new SM3.6 CD won't boot

I've got a new SM3.6 set i got for christmas, and a new Slimline v12 ps2 i got a few weeks ago. The DVD SM disc boots fine, and works fine. The SMCD disc, however, does not. Whenever i insert the CD disc, it takes me to the browser and shows the SM CD as "Playstation 2 Disc". I click on the disc, the drive spins, and then i taken right back to the browser.

I tried booting my old SM 3.0 CD disc, and it worked fine. Is there some way i can swap into a Swap Magic disc? Like...load my DVD Swap Magic, or the old CD one, and then swap to the new disc?

You could try booting the new one with the old one, but you shouldn't have to do that. I'd recommend contacting the company that you got it from and get a replacement.

How would i swap the new one with the old one? When i try running the new disc after using the old disc, nothing happens. The drive spins really fast, but no image appears on screen or anything.

You probably won't be able to. Sounds like you just got a faulty disc. Like I mentioned in the previous post, your best bet is to contact the company that you bought it from and have them ship out a replacement.
