magic switch pro v2 help please

Hi. I've purchased and installed magic switch pro v2. I've followed the directions very closely, and I think A-B-C tools are all installed properly ( my ps2 model # is SCPH-70011). When I put swap magic 3.6 in the rom and boot my ps2 slim (with the lid wide open) it goes to the "browser system cofiguration" screen. In addition the swap magic dvd isn't spinning. I'm thinking no matter how well I believe the installation went there must be something wrong. Any ideas? I knew the installation was going too easy to be true.

FYI If you ever experience the problem described in the above post check your "C" tool. It seems to be very touchy about placement. It took me several tries to line it up properly, but I got it eventually. Does using a flip top eliminate this problem? And I thought swap magic 3.6 had usb support, but I don't see anything about usb when the start screen is showing.

OK my fliptop arrived today. I was really worried about taking my ps2 apart, but it couldn't have been easier. Simply put...I love it. It nearly killed me to cut the security seal, but only cause I paid an extra $50+ for 3 year extended warranty only 13 months ago.

Does anyone know if SwapMagic is gonna come out with a version that supports more than 4 games at a time using usb hdd, and are all games that work with SwapMagic on dvd compatible with SwapMagic on usb hdd?

Thanks for all the feedback in my MANY threads. It's been a long trip learning about the use of mods and hdd etc on the slim ps2.
