I have some media that appear to have small spots of dye in it. I searched the forums and couldn't find anything on this. I have three disks like this with not to good of burns. Need to know if this is a problem or if I have something else going on every now and then. Thanks

sounds like you got a few "bad apples" in your batch of media? or are these "spots" on the media AFTER the burn and were not there prior to the burn?

i'm thinking it's just a few bad discs within your spindle, this can happen with ANY manufacturer/brand of discs...nobody is perfect...

These spots I noticed after the burn on 2 discs and when I checked the next one in the stack before the burn under my magnifying light I could see them.So I guess my local retailer is gonna get back this spindle. Thanks!

well, if you are seeing them BEFORE the burn, then, yes...def. return them for an exchange and hopefully your next spindle will be better~ :)

you should always GET what u PAID good money for~ :)
