I got a ver 7 PS2 with DMS 4 Lite installed.

I just noticed, that when I insert an original game DVD and reset it, it will only boot and show the option of memory card and DVD. (the memory card symbol and CD symbol)
So what you usually do is, when you choose the DVD symbol, it will boot the game, but that's not the case, if I chose the DVD it would keep disappear for awhile and it will take me to that 2 options again and won't go anywhere.

The only way to play original games for me now is by completely turning off the chip (L2 or L1 button I belive), then it will load as normal.

Funny thing is, with the chip on, it will only play backup games. I can just need to insert the game, reset, and it will boot and play automatically. But for original games, I have to disable the chip.

Anyone knows why? It's not really important, because I can just easily burn my original games if I wanna play, but yeah, it just don't feel right when something is wrong.

Is it a common problem?

Thanks in advance.

upgrade your flash bios to Toxic V1.4 and try that. with it being a lite you cant go with the full Toxic OS but the bios should help out.
