SHARP DV-HR350F + PAL Issues with sound

Hi,

I just bought a Sharp DV-HR350F off pixmania.uk., the problem is that I live in Ireland and this unit is PAL B/G. this means that although the TV tuner finds the channels it does not have any sound. I need the PAL I version. Does anyone know if I can change this on the unit itself by either downloading some software or something?

In order to get this unit exchanged to the version I need, I have to pay 50 pounds delivery back to France...plus the waiting etc... not ideal.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
