alright im trying to get my internet on my psp but i keep getting a dns error and ive read evey thread in the universe and i tried everyting and it still doesnt work

First off, you have to have a Wireless Router

Here is what you should have on the PSP

Make sure the "Wireless Switch" is turned on, it is on the side of the psp, next to the Analog Joystick.

Turn off WLAN Power Save (Settings -> Power Save Settings -> WLAN powersave -> Off)

Go TO PSP Network Settings -> Infrastructure mode -> New Connection

Name: Whatever you wanna call it
SSID: Dont bother about entering this Just hit scan below and select your network
Encryption: If you are using WEP,put in the key

If you have DHCP enabled on your router, then you can choose easy, else choose Custom -> Manual

IP Address: 192.168.2.X where X is an avaialble unused IP address on your router, try something like 192.168.2.199
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Router: 192.168.2.1
Primary DNS: 192.168.2.1
Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0
Proxy Server: If you have one, hit use, if not then hit dont use (you most probably dont have one)

review your settings then save them by pressing "X" and test your connection

It should work

do you have WEP enabled on the router? If you do , make sure you are typing the right key into the psp

i have the wep key when i test my connection it says it works but when i go into the internet browser it a dns error shows up
