Ok guys I am new to this forum and I want to learn how to bridge as a sole reason to stop cheating to my team and clan my stats are legit my gamertag is Shaneomac830. I have searched a lot on this but could not find any answers so please dont flame I just have a question.

I read tutorials on how to bridge but I just cant get the hook up right.

Heres what I have Cable Modem>Router>Computer>----crossover cable-->xbox

This is via 2 ethernet adapters

I bridge the connections but it will not connect to live I run the test and it says it cannot confirm an Ip. So I check my comp by running ipconfig heres what I get:

XBOX CONNECTION: vvvvvv

Autconfiguration IP Address...: 169.254.###.###
Subnet Mask...................:255.255.#.#
Default Gateway...............: Nothing is listed

COMPUTER CONNECTION: vvvvv
Connection-specific DNS Suffix: Belkin
IP Address....................:192.168.#.##
Submet Mask...................:255.255.255.#
Default Gateway...............:192.168.#.#

If someone could please help I would appreciate I am so lost right now
