Iused dvd decrypter and saved the movie to a folder but when i try to open it with dvd shrink it cant find the files in the folder but when i open the folder the files are there what am i doing wrong?
Assuming you ripped the whole movie with decrypter to a VIDEO_TS folder on your hard drive, if it's named something else rename it to VIDEO_TS, run shrink and choose open files, browse to the VIDEO_TS folder, highlight it and press ok/open.
Hi suzukitoy,
If you saved it using Decrypter in the ISO Read mode, you won?t be able to open it with Open Files. Instead in Shrink go to: Files -> Open Disk Image.

Have you tried using shrink to rip the DVD and have it create your backup files or image?
DVDshrink will create either a VIDEO_TS folder containing the video files or an ISO image of the files (you choose when you cilck backup and are asked to save target as), when the backup is complete either can then be burned to DVD. You can burn the ISO image to DVD using DVDdecrypter in ISO write mode, use Imgburn, Nero, or Roxio. Burning the files in the VIDEO_TS folder, you'll need Nero, Roxio, or ImgTool burn.
