maybe its the media type
i believe if its cd, it has to be cd-r not cd+r, i'm not sure about that.
but its probably because you're not burning right.
what are you burning, images?

First of all,
is it me or I never heard of cd+r lol
and second the problem is either the media(nice quality or crap)
OR It's the burning speed you burnt it to fast.

Just a thought you are trying to boot CD's, are you sure you are using the CD boot disk and not the DVD boot disk?

dude, so you just say plastic things.
of course you need that.
i'm guessing its a slide card. i cant help you if you dont tell me how you're expecting to play backups
you need either flippy or slide card.
DO NOT REPEAT "plastic things", i'm trying to help.
